Surf-n-Turf Myrtle Beach

Thought you might like to see some pics of our trip to Myrtle Beach to see Mike. Along the way we stopped at Charleston, SC, Tupolo, MS, where Elvis was born, and the extensive cotton fields in MS along the Arkansas River. We also saw the USS steel mill along the Interstate 20 in Birmingham, AL. Always good to be home. Check out Flickr.

The Mayflower Quarterly, Vol. 74, No. 3

This Post will show excerpts from the Mayflower Quarterly. The quarterly provides a look at the history of the Pilgrims. i.e. European connection, why they came to America (e.g. some for religeous beliefs), and early days in Plymouth. I will also include some writings of the Natives e.g. Wampanoags who were most responsible for their survival.

The Mayflower Society's (Mayflower descendants) goal is to preserve the history of the Pilgrims for future generations.
This Post along with the Comments- my notes, and yours, hopefully will be educational and entertaining.
Check occasional for my new additions.

Mayflower Society- Warren line

Good news. I just received the second approval of three Dewolf lines to the Mayflower. This is the Richard Warren line. The first being the Mullins-Alden line which was approved two years ago.

There is one document remaining to submit the Gov. William Bradford line for approval. It has been a lot of gratifying work since 1985; however, Doris, and Uncle Bill Pratt provided the game plan. Like Doris, I am trying to provide 'tracks' which will be useful to future generation who may be interested in the genealogy of our families.
I will send all Documents to Flickr for all.
